My name Helen is of Greek origin, and its meaning is "sun ray", "shining light".

I love my name:) But my parents also didn't pick it. My grandfather picked this name, but my parents didn't want it, they didn't know what to choose so they had nothing to do and take the name my grandfather insisted on:)

My name is a combination of my mom's and dad's name. Isnt that creative? When I was a kid, I wished I had a different name, but now, I cam to love it. =)

From my childhood I've dreamed to call my daughter - Christina, that was my first doll's name... lol... or Eva. I'm still thinking about it, but I suppose Christina will be my choice... lol...

My name is Olga and it's Scandinavian ( meaning Saint - I wish, he-he). My Dad came up with it right after I was born, it just dawned on him :)

They wanted to call me Julia when they learnt it would be a girl, but some woman in the clinic said that her grandma's cow's name was Julia, and that's when my Mom changed her mind (no offense, dear Julias, I love your name, I wished I was Julia almost my whole childhood).
