There is a new post on Allwomenstalk.com - I am 20 and Fabulous: Fashion Finds for 20-something Year-Olds. There are really some nice fashion ideas, but why just 20-something? Can be there such an age discrimination? Why fashion for 20-s,30-s, 40-s, 50-s etc? I think that fashion is for any age and you can wear such blouse in your forties and still look fabulous! So Ladies, what do you think? Does age matter in fashion?
I don't think fashion matters if you are older than 20. Though I won't just go along with the trend, I have to like it first. I think that age is not an issue as long as you have the attitude to carry it off.
I guess Fashion caters to all ages but this fashion may differ. There is a different fashion for children, teenagers and adults. I don't think that can be called age discrimination. If your thirty and you feel like wearing the so-called teenage fashion, then go for it.
Good point Ginger...when I was teaching, I loved being able to choose different outfits..but I do agree...I was teaching middle school , and high school...and if I wore a two piece suit.well you can just tell...
I am more a relaxed dresser now that I am not teaching..but still like to keep on top of style..it makes me feel good about myself...and I like to get an approving smile from my husband or whomever :) Either way.. Personally...I like the way Kathern Hepburn dressed..I love classics..and buy accessories now that I am on a "don't buy so much" budget :) Just for now I hope!!!!!! have a great day...
I wouldn't say age, the physical number is such the issue. As we get older, our body changes, lifestyle changes, and tastes change. I think the most imporant factors are that we are wearing clothes that look good on us, flatter our figures, whatever figure you have, and make you FEEL good while you are wearing them.
